Fan Lifecycle Intelligence
Fragmented fan behavior turned into measurable stage movement: signals mapped to interventions, CRM triggers, and executive decisions across all lifecycle stages.
Executive Framing
What lifecycle intelligence actually means for the business
Most fan databases store transaction records, not lifecycle position. The difference matters: a fan who bought a ticket three years ago and a fan who bought one last month are both "purchasers" in a raw export, but they belong to completely different stages, with different churn risk, different CRM journeys, and different intervention timelines. Lifecycle intelligence assigns every fan a stage based on behavior, not just recency.
The downstream value is operational: when lifecycle stage drives CRM journey enrollment, every fan gets the right message at the right moment, not a generic blast. The BI Command Center reads stage-level signals to surface executive decisions. The Fan Bot classifies conversations against lifecycle context, not just intent tags. Stage assignment is the connective tissue that makes the entire system coherent.

Signal Intelligence
Stage-by-stage signal map
Each lifecycle stage has a distinct behavioral signal fingerprint. These signals drive stage assignment, CRM journey activation, and dashboard reporting.

Risk & Opportunity
Churn risk and opportunity by stage
Risk and opportunity are not opposites: First Purchase carries high risk andthe highest opportunity score in the model. That's the intervention math: elevated churn risk at the moment when opportunity is highest means this stage demands the most aggressive post-event follow-up investment.
Lapsed fans carry high risk but comparatively limited opportunity: the intervention math inverts: spend selectively on high-LTV lapsed fans, reduce contact on low-LTV lapsed fans to protect brand equity.

Fan Flow
Lifecycle funnel: audience by stage
The funnel tells the conversion story. Fans at Awareness narrow stage by stage to Advocates, while a significant cohort sits in Lapsed, representing both a cost (failed conversions) and an opportunity (reactivatable revenue).

Intervention Map
Stage → Signal → Risk → Intervention → CRM → Dashboard → Decision
Every lifecycle stage closes a full loop. Scroll each row left to right to trace the chain from observable signal through to executive decision.

Bot × Lifecycle
Fan Bot × Lifecycle Signal Loop
Every bot conversation produces a structured lifecycle signal. The intent tags classified from each conversation confirm or update the fan's stage assignment, fire the appropriate CRM journey, and contribute to the BI dashboard: closing the loop from fan behavior to business decision.
Lifecycle Reinforcement
Bot conversation confirms first-purchase stage assignment: fan is actively transacting, not browsing. High confidence (94%) intent classification triggers immediate post-event follow-up journey rather than nurture sequence.
CRM Alignment
Triggers first_purchase_family_onboarding sequence: post-event thank-you at 48h, second-game offer at day 5, family flex pack promotion at day 14.
Lifecycle Reinforcement
Bot confirms lapsed classification and surfaces price sensitivity as the primary barrier. Nostalgia activation intent indicates high emotional connection: reactivation ROI is higher than a cold-lead equivalent.
CRM Alignment
Fires lapsed_fan_win_back sequence with Founding Tier validation: returning fan offer at 15% discount with seat priority access to mitigate price sensitivity signal.
Lifecycle Reinforcement
Bot validates Loyal stage: renewal intent at high confidence confirms the fan is self-initiating the renewal journey. Seat upgrade intent signals upsell readiness, which is the highest-margin action for Loyal fans.
CRM Alignment
Triggers loyal_renewal_upgrade_journey: seat upgrade offer within 24h, early renewal incentive at day 2, VIP exclusive event invitation at day 7.
Lifecycle Reinforcement
Bot escalation validates the Engaged stage and flags corporate upgrade readiness: suite inquiry for 20-30 clients across multiple events exceeds self-serve thresholds. Bot pre-qualifies before human handoff, reducing corporate sales cycle by an estimated 2-3 meetings.
CRM Alignment
Triggers corporate_escalation_pre_qualified: sales team receives lead record with group size, food requirements, brand activation interest, and multi-event intent pre-populated.
Lifecycle Reinforcement
Bot confirms First Touch stage: fan is discovering the team, not purchasing. Community interest intent signals high advocacy potential if properly nurtured; these fans have the highest ambassador conversion rate (38%) of any first-touch persona.
CRM Alignment
Fires womens_team_first_touch_nurture: community event invitation at day 3, behind-the-scenes content at day 7, introductory offer at day 14.
Lifecycle Reinforcement
Bot captures cross-sell readiness at First Touch: venue inquiry and cross-sell interest suggest the fan is open to sports content if the offer is venue-framed, not team-framed. Timing sensitivity: cross-sell window is 30 days post-concert.
CRM Alignment
Fires concert_first_crossover_nurture: venue-themed sports preview at day 5, 'experience the arena differently' offer at day 10, first-game discount at day 20.
Business Recommendations
Key decisions the lifecycle model surfaces
Lifecycle intelligence is only valuable when it drives action. These recommendations are derived directly from stage-level signals and conversion data: each one is traceable back to a specific stage transition or behavioral pattern.
